"Especially the Chatsworth crash where it was basically disintegrated when it's loco was pushed into it."Any car could have had that happen, whether it was a regular Superliner, an Amfleet, a Shoreliner, or a Multilevel (NJT). Locomotives are heavier and more solid built than most passengers cars, so in the same crash, any car model or class would have disintegrated the same way, especially at the same speed, be it a Bombardier, a Sumitomo, a Kawasaki, a Budd or a Pullman Standard. |
