Take a look at the area north of Grand Central. You can see through to the tracks on three lots that had not been built upon, the New York Central Building (1929) site straddling Park between 45th and 46th and The Barclay Hotel (1926) site on Lexington between 48th and 49th. The hotel, like the New York Central Building, was built by the railroad. |
