Glad to hear everyone's enjoying those 1924 photos. I could look at them for hours! When I started at DoITT back in late 2005, the first project I did was to register those photos (originally from DCP) using ArcMap. Despite some seams and other mismatches, it proved not too difficult to line them up with newer photos. Considering that these were taken when aerial photography was in its infancy, and certainly long before computers and GIS, I was able to get good results. Enjoy!Bob |
