I can believe it, but the plane would have had a long takeoff roll for it to be able to do that. Maybe the vibration made 'em come off, because anything else and they would have lost windows with the lids!! lol

I remember always seeing it go off whenever I was home at them times, and even used to go out to the airport by Runway 22R to see it up close, it was an amazing piece of craftsmanship!!

When I saw it displayed at the Interpid, I thought that was the saddest sight in the world, for a plane to be grounded like that when its only place is the sky!!
