No.NYP is operated by AMTK. When an LIRR consist starts from NYP, they use AMTK carknockers for the brake tests &ct. The West Side Yard was not yet built when LION lived there, it sounds like that *is* all LIRR people, but unless a road crew takes it out of WSY then AMTK will have to do the brake test again when the road crew boards at NYP. Leastwise that is how the LION sees it based on what he saw back in the '80s. ROAR |
