The higher membership are all mostly former UTU guys with Conrail-date seniority on MNR, and ACRE was spun off as its own "independent" union sometime in 2000, starting with the Conductors and Assistant Conductors (Trainmen), then going on to representing MNR's Engineers, Signal Maintainers, Yardmasters, RTCs (Rail Traffic Controllers), Assistant Stationmasters and Power Directors between 2000 and 2002.BLET is also at LIRR as well. |
