ONCE upon a time, those intervals WERE the schedule. Until the MTA realized that they ALSO got the IRT out of the deal and cured THAT chit with timers. :(Seriously, when *I* was a kid in the 50's, Van Courtlandt trains were "2 every 3 minutes" ... and VCP *turned them around* with only a two-stub terminal "WITH crossovers AND interference" ... (yahds) ... GEE. What HAPPENED to 90 second intervals? Oh yeah, MTA and their D'Amatos and other LIBERAL GOP Rockefellers. :) |
