Then "occidental" is too. And if I get confused as to my whereabouts, I can't say I'm "disoriented". Ridiculous; the word "oriens" in Latin means the part of the sky where the sun rises, just as "occidens" refers to the part of the sky where the sun sets.

What about "midget"?

There's a midget race?
