As far as paints and pigments go, yellow is a primary color.When talking about light, yellow is a mixture of red and green. I remember a 1980's(?) TV ad campaign for Ziploc storage bags, with a new feature to help identify when a bag was sealed. One band was colored yellow, the other blue. The catch phrase was usually spoken by a child, saying, "Yellow and blue makes green! It's sealed!" |
