Crush loaded LA blue line train |

Posted by Easy on Sun Feb 7 22:22:57 2010 Blue line trains this weekend and the next three are running at 30 minute headways all day because they are working on the tracks to tie in with the new Expo line. Trains are normally standing room only at 12 minute headways, so I expected the worst. But it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. It was crowded, but not ridiculously so. I was in the last car and the first two cars were much more crowded, but only a few people at 2 or 3 stations weren't able to board and had they been aware that the next train was 30 minutes behind us, I'm sure that they would have squeezed on. This next pic was supposed to be a video, but I had my camera on the wrong setting. So I'm standing there holding the camera thinking it was a video...lol
