I think that the reality is that Mayor Bloomberg is just about a Republicrat. His support among Democratic leaders recognizes this. Plus, said Democratic leaders were looking 4 years down the line. While Mr. Thompson could have been running for re-election, Mr. Bloomberg is going to have a mighty hard time adding on another term. |
