Uh oh....I'm in big trouble. I haven't a clue what ASPIE is but do I get a prize???????????? I scored 137. 'You have many ASPIE traits.'
I got chewed out today publicly by big boss because I enquired and stopped a precision machining process carried out by laborer who has difficulties in measurements when I discovered that the alignment process was NOT being used. 30/10,000 ths of an inch may seem very small but IF you delete alignment pin and just run a carbide cutting head into a template, eventually the template becomes distorted and one day, when you drop carbody upon modified trucks, the pins don't align. "Inspector, you're lucky to have a job because I gave it to you." Did he ever! I have bleeding hemmorhoids. When I or my floor supervisor do this work for MNRR, we will use the alignment pin...the circular hole in the template may be distorted BUT the two threaded holes for the proper process remain untouched. There will be NO costly mistakes made by us. 'Peta..you guyz from TA.' Sup P/Os me for fun...similar background but he was TA bus mechanic. OK...I'm ASPIE...am i going to die? CI peter
