There was only one problem with the designations that were used during that period. They were WRONG!!! "DD" was erroneously used on trains operating on 8 Ave when the D/DD combination is meant for 6 Ave. The C was erroneously used for trains operating on 8 Ave even though the C/CC combination is meant for trains operating on 8 Ave. The TA should called the 205 - Stl via 8 Ave local service a "CC" and kept the"D" designation for the Bed Pk - 34/6 express service. |
