The ridership on the West End line is going to Midtown, not Downtown and this would reduce delays on southbound R trains when southbound M trains are held up at 36th St and northbound R trains before it goes into 36th St as well as southbound D trains at 20th Av in which all the time, it has to wait for a southbound M train to clear at Bay Parkway. |
