Correct, while a more convenient ride for many, it would be a cut, and save money. Between the 480 foot train on 6th Ave and Queens Blvd, and then only the J/Z on Nassau, all those trains left over too for the M south of Essex.
But Queens Blvd was fine when it had only one Manhattan local....it's still way ahead of that with a 480 foot V....not only did the G not go to Manhattan, it also was only 4 75 foot cars.
