I did point out some other plusses to streetcars, right there in the text you quoted. But the environmental benefits of zero-emission streetcars cannot be blinked, regardless of which side of the "global warming" fence you're on.I agree that Fifth Avenue should remain as it is, although I never understood why the Central Park East segment is a one way street, whereas CPW is two-way... |
