What is it you find so wrong about the plan? Is it operationally unworkable? Is it technically infeasible? Is it economically nonviable? I'll grant the last one would be a difficult case to make given its capital cost. Other than money there really isn't a showstopper for that project. And I'm confident that in a cost/benefit analysis the potential for 120,000 to 180,000 commuters per hour entering Manhattan without making a transfer would trump any alternative which involves a ferry, a PATH expansion, the Jersey Central dump, or something similar. |
