Heh. Yeah, I always got a kick out of them on the "real" railroad. ANd with the ubermotors, no less. :)

Never got up in the ceiling of them like I have on some others, but the way it was explained to me years ago the REAL problem with them was the way the door hangers were built - with the louvres on the rooftop, the door tracks were "exposed" to weather and schmutz would come through the roof vents, land on the (unprotected?) door tracks and that's all she wrote. Add snow, ice, leaves and dirt and show over.

But Harold loves his limo. Heh.
