"...with the 2/3 running local from 96th-Chambers and the 1 express from 96th-14th."That was the original post-9/11 plan. But after all the delays it caused with 2/3 trains switching from the express to the local tracks and vice versa for 1 trains, that plan got scrapped in favor of 1/2 local service to Brooklyn and 3 express service to 14th Street. And rightfully so. |
