Obviously Alex L. has been making posts as a TSS - - school car instructor yet, even before that he was a C/R, then T/O. He made references to the next T/O and C/R classes, many, many times.It was Alex's case (which I agreed to) which the diamond crossover was way too far away (much like Jamaica Center, which constricts E service to 12 TPH). He made that point very clear in an MTA public hearing on the SF project back in 2005-6. Had the crossover been built like Times Square on the 7 - - right outside the station - - then the train capacity would have greatly increased - - although it would require some trains to short turn at 137 or Dyckman at the northern end. But at least the level of service within Lower and Midtown Manhattan would be met. Please stop making assumptions about foamers until you know the facts. Alex is a NYCT employee, not a foamer. |
