From a previous message: "They will be working on Cortlandt Street on the 1 line next summer, therefore the 1 train will be extended to New Lots, the 2 will probably scrape the wall AGAIN and the 3 will be cut back to 14th street. Same service pattern as post 9/11."What time periods are we talking about? A few weekends in a month? Three whole months in the summer 24/7? Right now the Cortlandt Street station consists of a subway tunnel whose sidings are wooden panels covering the space where the platforms would be. Just wondering. Mike |
