They (CI yard) put new windows and even new floors on one of the last R40 Slant cars to run out of that yard. I remeber because it was when the Slants on the (B) was becoming a rare sight and whenever I seen one on layover in BB I would always ride it (I normally take the (Q) since I live at an local stop..). I'm pretty that particlar Slant is now in the Ocean somewhere... |
