Part III, posted by North-Easten T/O on Tue Nov 17 23:49:45 2009. Well, that is a pair of M-2s being moved from the east yard and shop to the west yard. Since this is in the yard, the markers probably remained on, but when making the move, whether the markers are on ro off, the headlights must be on, but in the case of reverse moves, the headlights and the taillights are usually on simultaneously. No such rule exists that forbids this, otherwise A LOT of yard crews and road conductors would be out of service, since this practice is common place just about everywhere on the MNR system during backup moves and yard moves. |
