After I took that picture, about halfway along the line, I boarded the next tram and somehow got a seat a couple of rows behind the driver's compartment. Then the aisle and the entrance area filled up again. Then a woman squeezed on, pushing a grocery-store shopping cart, a big four-wheel one. The driver shouted at her a few times, obviously demanding that she get that thing out of there. Then he picked up his phone and talked to his supervisor or dispatcher or whoever. There was some more back and forth with the woman. Finally, after about five minutes, we started moving again. A couple of stops later, she got off. |
