That's pretty much how I felt (though I was never on the Blue Line that late, I think the latest I ever rode was around 9 PM). One time, I had to catch the 6:30 AM San Diegan at Union Station to travel down to a business conference in San Diego. So I drove to Artesia Station and got one of the first Blue Line trains of the day (it was so early, we didn't meet any southbound trains until we were on Washington Blvd!), then got the Red Line to UNS and got there in plenty of time. All transit trip, as upon arrival in San Diego, got on the SD Trolley Bayside (now Orange) Line to the Convention Center. I was not worried at all about being at Artesia that early. |
