Agreed.The entire Staten Island transit network went BUST because of all the extra riders headed to the parade that would normally be in their cars and SUVs. Everyone took the ferry or S53/S79 & R to the parade and the transit network out here simply could not handle it! It's a shame and definitely is the reason why SI's population is limited to a mere 500,000. |
