Actually, the only really dicey areas of the Green Line are from Vermont through Avalon. Imperial/Wilmington/Rosa Parks isn't in a great area, but the Rail Control Center is adjacent, and (I think) the LA Sheriff's Transit Bureau, so it's fairly safe, as long as you don't venture away from the station. East of Rosa Parks or west of Vermont are pretty safe. This was as of the time I departed Southern California (July 1998), things may have changed now. |
