Yea I was affected by this yesterday.Was around the Castleton Depot area & started making my way @ 2:20. Got on the S44 @ 2:27 and made it to the Ferry with 9 minutes to spare! No ferry was there @ all! 1st ferry showed up @ 3:08 (Sprirt Of America) & that was packed solid! The next 1 showed up @ 3:14 (John F Kennedy)& that 1 was also packed solid! Did not start loading til 3:19. The JFK ferry became the super late 3 PM departure that left the dock over 25 Mins late! The ferry I was on was very crowded as it left late enough to take on many of the 3:30 passengers! After arrival, took the free shuttle van(Downtown Connection) & walk a little. Overall, my trip took an extra 1/2 an hour for a trip that is supposed to be about 1 hour 10 Mins! |
