Seeing this:What about if there is a weekend where the Montauge Street tunnel is running normal and the NORTH side of the Manhattan Bridge is not being used because of the G.O. having the D be shortened to eight, 60-foot car trains and have the D run via the route it did during the early 1980s, with the D running via the Nassau Line from Essex-Broad (with Broad and Fulton Streets open and J service also extended to Broad Street on any such weekend). That would at least eliminate the multiple seat rides in any such situations. |
