Nice update, thanks for sharing.Thank the folks at, www.dullesmetro.com. I will admit that I spent some time reformatting the content so I could post it here. Imagine if the MTA/MTACC leadership was at the helm of this project???????? It would take 50 years to dig the first 100 feet of one tunnel. This is not, and never was a WMATA project, though WMATA will operate it when completed. Dulles Transit Partners, LLC which is comprised of Bechtel Infrastructure, Inc. and Washington Group International (now URS) won the design-build contract under Virginia's Public-Private Transportation Act. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is the lead agency on the project. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
