The one thing I noticed down there is how friendly and nice the majority of the people in New Orleans are. They are great people.The place is such a "dirty" city, but nothing phases them. I hated the place when I first went there....but within a day, I was hooked....the place gets in your blood. I left loving the place. It's so much more relaxed than NY (not that I would want to live there). I remember getting off at the airport the first time, and it was if I landed on another planet. We sort of just walked around with our mouths open, the people are so much different....so much SLOWER. As a New Yorker, you have to SLOW way down... |
