Not so sure about the R44 - at least according to my notes - no R44 unit with a number greater than 259 ever set a bogie in the Queens IND. 260-339 went to Concourse, and 340 and up went to the "A".The R42 could be a different story, as the new stock tended to move around when freshly delivered. I record the original placement of #4596 thru #4699 on the "A", "AA" and "B", and have never seen them in Queens IND until just recently. wayne |
