The problem with so called SMEEs is that R-10s through 32s are SMEEs but R-38s and up are a WABCO "upgrade" called RT-2 which is "supposed" to be fully compatible but in reality is not, and neither NYCTA or any other transit agency had the guts to call WABCO to task for it! |
