And worth every penny. My conductor usually disappeared as soon as he opened the doors to cross the platform and split, had to walk past surprised geese changing ends back there. We were SUPPOSED to have two switchman for relays, but of course they didn't remember that some had to do layups up the Y from the 205 end ... if it was arnines though, the lone switchman would fall back since you didn't have to DUMP arnines back there, just handle out, walk, drop it in on the other side and go.How long do those new bastards take to recharge after changing ends these days? |
