Truth be told when they ran full length OPTO on the L for the short period passengers had no problems. It is just the special interests that feed fear stories into people heads.The last I looked Airtrain jfk had no door operator and no one cares and it uses OLDER trains than the L Path has no station agent yet no one is scared away even in manhattan. You can not go on public opinion polls when the question asked is twisted. Straphangers campaign are union patsys. The head guy testified before the arbitrator that passengers had no problem diverting needed capitol money from the stimulus plan to pay for raises while the capitol budget has a huge shorfall |
