It is an under jump that starts under 66th ave west of queens blvd& comes out just before 63rd drive.the section I was in goes under the 4 mainline tracks as a SEPERATE tunnel,it runs apx.200feet.it is sealed up at both ends.there are chaining marks on the wall.I have seen the AS BUILT blueprints& it shows the w/b[tunnel to lirr/whitepot junction]with track,signals&3rd rail in place.I have spoken to 2 seperate sources who have been in this tunnel,the last one sometime in the early 1960`s& have posted on this several times. |
