Different markets and clientele; AirTrain (both services) services primarily travelers (except for employees traveling to/from Lefferts Boulevard station to work sites within the Airport), and the local buses (NJT in Newark, and Regional Bus (NYC Bus/MTA Bus) primarily services those who work there.
