It looks like the end of the R40m's arrived sometime this morning as the 4484-85 operated in service for the last time on the "V" Line.It looks like this train operated in the early A.M. rush,and then was "laid Up" to Jamaica Yard.So for the record the consist was as follows: 4752-53,4660-61,4484-85(The Last Pair)4720-21,4763-62. This is it then,the end of the R40s in passenger service.They will be missed.Farewell to the greatness! |
