That gives me an interesting idea. Could the local stations (59th, 72nd, 96th, 110th Sts) be used to alleviate overcrowding on the Lex Ave Line? Obviously they would need to be rebuilt for modern use. Also, there is the issue of how fares would be paid (Metrocard?). |
