You actually covered it in your first reply when you said "you don't know what rights you have" or something to that effect, but I was reading quickly. I try to only spend 30 or 60 minutes in these internet cafes so they don't charge me for the next interval. Might as well use my money as wisely as possible.Don't tell anyone, but I took two photos on one of their Metro lines today, putting the camera in P mode, auto WB, and at an ISO that would be guarenteed to get decent results. Quickly pulled out the camera when I needed to, shot, and put it away again. Got a few stares from the few locals nearby but I didn't see any staff. SOmeone asked me something when I took a photo near the end of one of the tram lines, but I indicated I didn't understand a word and continued on my way. Also got some other good shots (as they appeared on the LCD, we'll see once I download them) on the other tram line by the more touristy stuff today. Going to try the "shooting from the hip" method again tomorrow on the other Metro line. This is one of those times where NOT having the DSLR would be helpful. The photo quality might not be as good, but I could be much omre discrete. I still have my older, smaller compact digital but I didn't bring it on this trip. |
