Railroad is 1/4 mile from my house and CSX has shiny new Darth Vaders where JAX forgets to clear up for them, so same issue right here all through the night. You get used to it. New York Central built the Albany bypass in 1924, I bought here in 1987, so I know I'm boned and accept it. When I first moved here, there were maybe four trains a day, now it's over 60. So sympathy is *not* in the cards for them outta THIS house.And oh yeah, two grade crossings too. :) |
