It shows you the idiocy of the politicans that are elected, as well as the people themselves. Look at these quites from the article:“The MTA is not going to do anything. It’s just crazy,” said Community Board 2 Chairman Joseph Conley. “ Well duh, why should they, the RR was there for 150 years. resident Andrea Modica wrote on the online petition to the LIRR. “Also, when I come home in the early morning there is constant idling, making it hard to get to sleep. It is a residential area and this needs to stop.” LMAO!!!!! 'It's a residential area". What an IDIOT!! The petition’s anonymous authors said residents have asked the railroad to try keeping the engines farther east, away from the residential buildings, Are these people brain dead? The phucking yard was there before the "residential" building they decided to buy a condo in. And the yard should move, or the LIRR should change to suit them? Morons. |
