Yet, if a customer has a great experience, he might tell 10 friends. Got to exceed those unreasonable expectations, you know! :DOr, in my case, I had an exceptionally good experience (on Amtrak, so it's on-topic) and wrote a complimentary email to Amtrak. I got an email back thanking me for the kind words. A month later, though, I got the standard "unhappy customer" form letter in the mail, along with a voucher for future trips. Erm, thanks, I guess? I don't know, it was just kind of funny. |
