Light rail can be beneficial when done correctly, but trying to make light rail into heavy rail like in LA is a waste. But I disagree that light rail is a good idea for NYC. It'll be almost as expensive to build as heavy rail and more expensive to operate. But as a railfan I'd like to see it. |
