Like it or not, the policies that Bush implemented that turned out to be failures are the liberal-ward ones—none of the "conservative" ones that he claimed would be implemented got implemented (save some tax cuts). it doesn't take much more than basic common sense to reinstate Glass-Steagall and bring back the 90% top marginal tax rate (policies that were successful in America's past) 90-percent top marginal tax rate was one initial cause of industrial flight to begin with. You don't realize how the left-leaning policies have eroded the USA, maybe? That's a good start. (Besides, there's nowhere to gather such tax revenue from anymore.) institute a public health plan or single payer (policies that are successful in every other modern democracy) There are no "modern democracies" other than in the English-speaking world. The European Union is not a democracy. These "plans", furthermore, are not successful but sinking under their own weight. and ban torture, prosecute those who ordered it, did it, and covered for it Nobody was "tortured", so I don't know what you're going on about. reaffirm that anyone accused of wrongdoing is entitled to a fair trial "Anyone"? I suppose you still don't know the difference between war and civil crime. Why don't you worry about the European Union, who has actually banned habeas corpus, and instituted anti-blasphemy laws (you can't criticize or even mock the EU), plus instituted "hate crime" laws so draconian that even making a joke that contains a hint of bigotry or racism can land you 1 to 3 years in prison? Everything you say reads like some of the worst leftist blogs out there. Are you not able to think for yourself? |
