Although the reason given for the extension of the route is operational (becasue of the viaduct repair work), the extension is also useful to passengers because of the connections available at 4th/9th. With the G terminus at Smith/9th, passengers have to transfer twice (at Smith/9th and 4th/9th) to make this connection. |
