The entire basis for his arrest was the photography. According to the New York Times article he was charged with illegal photography - that was the first thing he was charged with. The cops ordered him to stop taking pictures which is an illegal order that violates the rights granted to him by 21NYCRR1050.9c. Cities and police departments need to be repeatedly sued until they learn to treat people who carry cameras no different than those wearing a necktie. |
