The permit requirement is what the NYCLU defeated in the 1990's.Besides the MTA isn't even involved in this lawsuit - the offending agency is the NYPD and the issue went way beyond harassment of photographers in the subway. For the last 8 years police officers have been harassing photographers throughout the city - on the streets, in parks, at beaches, etc. |
