That a cheaper and safer route to deter criminals / terrorists would be to outright ban photography. The Subway is State/City Property not public property, you have to pay the MTA to enter its property and thus it belongs to them. I'm not saying I support it, but this is a possible scenario. The NYCLU could fight it but they would lose in the end. |
