Civil suits aren't the answer.Then what is? The attorney came right out in the article and admitted that the $1M figure is for headlines only and implied that he'd accept $31K ($11K for the attorney, $20K for Mr. Taylor). Based on the behavior described by the article and in the original post here, that doesn't seem outrageous. Fairness dictates that we all acknowledge that there may be another side to the story or details that we are unaware of, and that this could impact the size of any settlement. What would your price to be handcuffed, tossed in a holding cell for a few hours and criminally charged for something that wasn't illegal as well as for your time and energy in clearing your name?
